Rexiety Museum

Museum of Emotions is an architectural competition organized for the second time. During the design process, dipicting positive and negative emotions was crucial. Participants were asked to  design a museum that includes two separate halls that bring out contrasting emotions – one inducing negative emotions, and the other inducing positive emotions.

This design showcase also the two contrasting emotions. In one hall you achieve relief and an alliviation with a space filled with daylight, water and green, while in the other hall you feel the tension of a dark space. Visitors, using the staircase, walking beneath heavy boulders that seem stucked between walls, but about to break loose. They also enter an area that is extinct and abandoned. 

 

So this design evokes the two emotions of anxiety and relief/ alleviation.
